We are now accepting appointments for wedding cake consultations for 2017 Visit our shop daily for at least 12 flavors of cupcakes. An entire case dedicated to french macarons, single pastries, cannolis piped to order, dessert cakes and birthday cakes to grab and go. If you need a cake serving more than 10 people you must order ahead. We also have fabulous lilly pulitzer accessories, gift items, stationery and many unique snack and candy options

They were found growing wild in Italy as early as 234 BC. Although both chocolate and strawberries have been around for a long time, it was not until a woman named Lorraine Lorusso combined the two in the 1960s that the decadent chocolate covered strawberry was created. Lorraine worked at a small gourmet store called the Stop N’ Shop in Chicago. She took a tempered version of the gourmet chocolate served in the store and dipped the seasons’ freshest berries into the mixture. She allowed the chocolate to harden and then served them to paying customers. The treat was an instant success.
