The well-groomed cemetery, which features several statues, trees, and shrubbery, was established in the 1930s, and the funeral home opened their doors in 1974.
Roselawn has a number of prominent citizens buried here including Thomas B. Stanley, former governor of Virginia and founder of Stanley Furniture Company. Clay Earles and Henry Lawrence, founders of Martinsville Speedway are also resting here, as well as country music singer-songwriter Jim Eanes.
