Bill’s foster mom writes, “Bill is about as sweet as they come! Despite being found as a stray, he's adjusted well to life as an indoor cat. He loves to get pets and will roll over for belly rubs, complete with purrs. Since he's new to indoor living, cuddling and lap sitting seem to still be a bit of a mystery to him. He's begun to sit on the couch and bed but doesn't yet sit or sleep with us. But he's only been with us a short time and has made great progress, so I believe with time that will likely change. Bill would prefer a quieter home with no children or older children. He LOVES other cats. He's not very good at introducing himself and will run right up to them when first meeting them, but even our resident cat who's a bit standoffish warmed up to him pretty quickly. We haven't seen him around dogs but based on his friendliness with cats we think he may do well with dogs. His favorite hobby is walking between your legs, so watch your step! If you’d like to meet Bill, please contact us!

This is Susie! She can be a diva, but gets away with it by being super adorable! Susie came to us barely touchable. She was very unhappy and would hiss and swat when we tried to pet her. Fast forward to today and Susie is a different girl! She loves to get head scratches and cuddle on the lap of her person. She may be a little shy at first, but once she gets to know you, she's all yours! Susie does have her moments where she will let you know she has had enough, like if you touch her little paws without permission! Susie tolerates other cats, but gives them a warning hiss if they get too close. She would be much happier as the only cat in the home. Susie has come such a long way and is now the sweetest cuddle bug you'll ever meet!

Baby is still waiting for you to come to pick her up! She is at MadCat on Monroe Street, so please stop by and see her soon! Baby is the sweetest gal you will ever meet - and what a beauty! She loves to cuddle and be next to her person all the time. Baby loves attention, but not so much other cats. She would like to be the only cat in the household. This senior kitty has a lot of love to give!

We still need your help! This spring, an estimated 20 million kittens will be born. In 2017, Madison Cat Project was able to say yes to over 300 kittens (and 400+ adults and seniors) and provide expert care and lots of love on their journey to finding a forever home of their own. That number can be higher in 2018, but not without your help. Each year, we get calls from people who find abandoned cats who are alone and neglected. Many are tiny kittens without their mama, too young to survive on their own. Kittens who won’t make it if we aren’t able to say, “Yes!” Those kittens need us. They need you. Will you say, “Yes!” so we can help save more lives…will you give today? Your gift of $50 or more will help provide the needed medications, vaccinations, and spay/neuter surgery that all of our little furry friends will need before their journey home. Help us make 2018 our best year yet!

He is very laid back and happy to just hang out with you. He may be 11, but he’s still a kitten at heart!! Come to visit Theo at Mounds in Sun Prairie soon! 😻
