February is heart month, and we started it off by introducing Jeremy Guthrie to recent heart transplant recipient Josh Oakley. Josh is a pitcher for his high school team, with a mean fastball. Josh's family stayed with us for nearly 4 months, and Josh split time between our Houses and Children's Mercy Hospital. Josh is feeling great post-transplant in October, and even got to throw the ball around with the former Royals pitcher! #heartmonth #hearttransplantsurvivor #ForeverRoyal
