Imagination Station is an early learning center caring for children ages 6 weeks- 5 years.   Imagination Station ELC cares for children ages 6 weeks- 5 years.  We have infant, toddler, preschool, pre-k, and before/after kindergarten classrooms. Imagination station is licensed by DCYF and currently going through Bright Stars quality rating approval!  The preschool classroom has been working on science and math skills this week!
Children made guesses about 'What dissolves candy canes faster: cold water, hot water or vinegar?' then observed the results!
Miss Rachel also made cookies with the class and talked about measurements, mixing ingredients and how to cook something!Our Pre-K friends had a Polar express day today including pjs, a special snack and watching the movie!
Afterwards, children were asked to draw their favorite part of the movie and describe it to the class. This activity worked on literacy (comprehension), fine motor and language development skills!This week Pre-K is learning about physical fitness and how to stay healthy!!! This including setting up a restaurant in the classroom and a game of basketball outside mixed in with our other fun centers!A few pictures from our Thanksgiving feasts!!!

Friday, November 25th, see everyone Monday!Miss Abbie had a Thanksgiving meal all ready for our after school kids! We are so thankful for our wonderful Staff and families at Imagination Station!The infants have been working on their fine motor, sensory and creative arts skills while getting in the holiday spirit!!!Our toddler friends made apple pie this week! They helped make the pie, cook it in our kitchen, and taste it too!!! 🍎Our preschool class learned about corn last week... what better way to end the week than pop popcorn and eat it!! 🌽We hope you all had a very merry Christmas!! Our school age students got to exercise their voting rights today! 👍🏻Reminder: tomorrow is the puppet show!!! $2/child, all classes but infants are intending!It was great celebrating the New Year last night with our work family!❤️Reminder...
