The 69-bed children's hospital is staffed by pediatric specialists who know, love and care about children and their families.  The goal of Niswonger Children's Hospital is to provide safe and child-friendly care that is centered on the patient and family.

The Children's Resource Center houses the public health outreach programs and educational materials that we offer children and their families. We are proud of the current programs we have and look forward to extending them and implementing more programs in the future. Another outreach program we offer is The B.E.A.R. Buddies (Being Engaged to Achieve Reading) program. B.E.A.R Buddies pairs high school students with elementary students who need assistance in reading skills. They meet weekly to work on reading skills. Read more about B.E.A.R.
