LIT student ministry has started to sponsor a child through Compassion International. Each month, we will have students, that are able, bring $3 to help support this ministry. This child is named Misley Baptiste and he lives in Haiti. He is currently in the 1st grade! A few of our students prayed and picked him out of the masses at Student Life Camp last week. We will collect the money the second Wednesday of each month but will make sure to put out a reminder every month as well. If your student makes some type of their own income, encourage them to give from what they have earned themselves. We are excited for the opportunity to have not only an international impact, but an eternal one that far surpasses this life. Join us by partnering in the sharing of the gospel through this ministry. If you feel at any time that you are not able to give, there is no pressure. Thank you for allowing your students to come each week!
