Due to the inclement weather that is expected today and tonight, the 80th Birthday Celebration for Fr. Heffernan that was scheduled at Saint Joan of Arc Church tonight has been POSTPONED. If you were planning to join us for this time of appreciation and celebration, please know that we plan on rescheduling the event and will make sure to inform everyone of the new date.

Our parish Lenten Reconciliation Service begins at 7:00 PM. The evening will begin with a short service of prayer and reflection in the church and then offer the opportunity for those in attendance to individually go for the Sacrament of Reconciliation with one of priests in attendance. We hope you can join us for what should be a beautiful, prayerful, and rejuvenating evening.

Stations of the Cross in Hamden As a way of showing a prayerful unity between the churches of our town, the Catholic parishes of Hamden have put together a rotating schedule for celebrating the Stations of the Cross throughout Lent this year. Each Friday evening at 7:00 pm, Stations will be hosted at a different church around town, giving all our parishioners the opportunity to visit different places, have a range of sacred experiences, and pray with a variety of new, faith-filled people. We thank you so much for being a part of this opportunity for all of us to join together in faith during this holy and sacrificial time of year. The Stations of the Cross schedule for 2018 will be as follows: February 16 - Saint Stephen February 23 - Ascension March 2 - Saint Joan of Arc March 9 - Blessed Sacrament March 16 - Saint Rita March 23 - Our Lady of Mount Carmel
