A Christmas tree from a Montana forest will grace the Capitol lawn in 2017. Kootenai National Forest has been selected to provide the 2017 U.S. Capitol Christmas Tree, which is slated for the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C. The tree will arrive in Great Falls today and can be viewed tonight from 6pm -8pm at the Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center.
