Doberman Rescue of North Texas, Inc. is a non-profit organization run entirely by volunteers. We adopt throughout TX/OK/AR and into some parts of LA & NM!  Doberman Rescue of North Texas places purebred unwanted or abandoned Doberman Pinschers in loving homes. Most of the Dobermans we rescue come from shelters in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. Each dog is checked by a vet, given all shots, tested for heartworms, spayed or neutered, treated for any illnesses or medical problems that are found, and micro-chipped. Without exception, all dogs are spayed or neutered before they are adopted out. The dogs come to live at Doberhof, our Doberman-only private shelter in Grand Prairie which accommodates up to 22 dogs in 11 air-conditioned and heated runs with comfortable beds and classical music.

Doberman Rescue of North Texas, Inc., is a non-profit Texas corporation run entirely by volunteers with no paid staff. It is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c)(3) charity. For most people this means that donations made to Doberman Rescue of North Texas, Inc., are tax deductible.
