Fulton Stream Teams members Kyle and Scott spent the morning with the 5th grade classes learning about the water shed, and how they can help improve the quality of water in our community as well as everyone downstream! Thanks for inviting us to your school and helping us to spread the word. Pat yourself on the back, you are all heros!

Fulton Stream Team member Kyle Bruemmer attended the LEAD (leading, educating, acheiving, developing) event at William Woods University this week. We are excited to hear from Kyle about the study Dr. Kyger is conducting at Stinson Creek, and how there is the potential for the City of Fulton and the Fulton Stream Team to utilize their findings to improve the water quality of Stinson Creek. Kyle stated that the presentation was informative and "really really good!"

Thank you to everyone who braved the chilly weather on Saturday and participated in the 17th annual Clean Sweep Saturday, hosted by the City of Fulton, Parks and Recreation! Appproximately 1,700 pounds of trash was collected from our sidewalks and streets, and an additional 39 bags of trash and also debris, including a roll of carpet was collected from Stinson Creek! Thats alot of trash! Everyone left with a cool new t-shirt, a great lunch, and a well deserved sense of pride in our community! Thanks again, you made a difference!
