A new alternative art space in Old Town Fairfax City. Experimentation and exploration are at the core of every thriving arts community. We know that the artists we need in order to have a thriving arts community in Old Town Fairfax City are already here, but they are often hidden away in their own separate studios and homes. Truly exceptional, avant-garde, local and regional artists working in disciplines of painting, sculpture, photography, mixed media, collage, appropriation art, performance art, installation art, conceptual art, street art, video art, and other bleeding edge media and practices need a dedicated home base that supports and challenges them to experiment and explore together.
Olly Olly is a call for local artists to come out from their hiding places to make and show their art in a nurturing, creative community art space. Olly Olly is also a call to the community to come out, support, and benefit from an art scene that will help our community prosper and help to provide an authentic sense of community. Olly Olly will promote collaboration rather than competition and provide studios, an incubator space, and art gym for local artists, as well as a gallery, open studio, and event space for the community.
Olly Olly is located at 10417 Main St., 2nd Floor, Fairfax, VA 22030. We are currently open Tuesdays from 6pm-9pm, Saturdays from 11am-4pm, and by appointment.

We just added a CLOSING RECEPTION for Beyond the Blacklight! Because sometimes we need to take another sensuous dip into the magic that we all are. Our opening was phenomenal, so whether you want to get another look, or just in case you missed it, we want you to have another chance to experience Beyond the Blacklight. Because sometimes the darkest hour calls for the brightest lights, Olly Olly presents Beyond the Blacklight, an all-blacklight group show curated by Tariq Omar. Because we can’t allow every moment to be an existential crisis. Because we need to heed the call of playfulness and light. Because night. Because summer. Because love. Because we know you’re truly dazzling and deserve to be bathed in glowing purple and surrounded by vibrant fluorescent sensations. We will be collecting healthy non-perishable food items for Britepaths, which provides short-term emergency food assistance to Fairfax County area residents who are in crisis. We encourage you to bring a healthy non-perishable food item to donate. Britepaths is most in need of cooking oil, brown rice, dried beans, canned fruit in its own juices, and pasta sauce. Big, big love and gratitude to all who came out last night to make Olly Olly's Beyond the Blacklight opening such a dazzling, summery, magical night. From all of the lusciously brilliant bright art to the amazing conversations to the universe creating a vibrant show of thunder and lightning to our ever expanding collaborative love glow mural, each moment was exactly the creative celebration we craved! Special enormous thanks to Tariq Omar for curating and bringing the show together. Thanks to Martin Cervantez for collaborating and installing the exhibition with us. Thanks to all of the artists who shared their spectacular luminescence and to all the sparkling art lovers. Thank you all for lighting up the night. Let’s be moved to party with a purpose as we shimmer and glow tonight at Beyond the Blacklight. We continue our tradition of collecting non-perishable food items for the Food Bridge Program at Britepaths, which provides short-term emergency food assistance to Fairfax County area residents who are in crisis. If you would like to donate food items, The Food Bridge Program is most in need of items such as canned chicken or tuna, cooking oil, flour, sugar, cereal, rice, canned fruit in its own juices, canned tomato products, and pasta sauce.
