He graduated from De Soto High School in 1995. He had a strong love of music and was the founder of Str8Times Productions a fellow team member of Strange Music. He was formerly a police officer for Holton, KS, Independence, KS, and Douglas Co., KS. Jeremy had a strong love for his family and friends. He is preceded in death by: grandpa Richard Langan, grandpa Charles Adkins Sr. and step-father Robert Day. Susan L. (Teel) Warren passed away January 14, 2016 in a tragic accident. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 23, 2016 at 11:00AM at Cedar Crest Memorial Chapel, 32665 Lexington Ave., De Soto, KS. Visitation will be on Friday, January 22, 2016 from 6-8:00PM at the chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association, 3846 W 75 St., Prairie Village, KS 66208 or charity of choice. Susan was born on February 17, 1961. She was a lifelong resident of De Soto, KS and graduated from De Soto High School in 1979. Susan and her husband, Gino, had just recently moved to Hillsdale, KS. She worked at Menorah Medical Center as a Patient Information Coordinator for of 19 years. Susan also had 20 years of EMT experience. She is the daughter of the late Aaron Teel of Pattonburg, MO and Georgene Paxton of De Soto, KS. She is preceded in death by: father Aaron Teel; mother Georgene Paxton and step father Leonard Paxton and maternal grandparents George and Elfreda Payton. Stephen Archie "Steve" Prudden , 76, of De Soto, KS passed away Jan. 8, 2016. Funeral services will be held on January 12, 2016 at 10:00AM at the De Soto Baptist Church, 8655 Church St., De Soto, KS. Visitation is on January 11, 2016 from 6-8:00PM at the church. Burial in De Soto Cemetery, De Soto KS. In lieu of flowers, donations to American Diabetes Assoc., 0580 Barkley #400 Overland Park, KS 66212 or De Soto Baptist Church, Box E De Soto, KS 66018. Steve was born September 12, 1939 in Troy, KS. He graduated from Osbourne High School in 1957 and he served his country in the Army from 1963-1965. He married Charlene Rowland on November 23, 1960. They have been married over 55 years and have two sons, Stephen Mitchel and Troy Darren. They moved their family to De Soto from Overland Park in 1969 to open Steve's Meat Market. He enjoyed singing and belonging to The Old Time Fiddlers in De Soto. He sang in surrounding communities doing many weddings, funerals and church services. Steve was a active member of the Shriners. He was a Deacon of New Hope Baptist Church in KCKS and a current member of De Soto Baptist Church. He was the Mayor of De Soto for 4 years, a member of the Lion's Club and Rotary Club. He is preceded in death by: parents Stephen A. and Nancy Mae Prudden; son Troy Darren Prudden and sisters Sharon Mahan and Wuanita Harter. Survivors include: wife Charlene (Rowland) of the home; son Stephen Mitchel (Pam) Prudden of Eudora, KS; grandson Stephen Mitchel (Jennifer) Prudden Jr. and granddaughter Sarah Nicole Prudden both of De Soto, KS; sisters Edith Stagner, Kathy Daniels, Helen "Peggy" White and Lila Johnson and several nieces and nephews and other family members and friends. George Ellis Lutz, 61, of De Soto, KS was born Aug. 28, 1954 in Houston TX. The son of Marion and Helen (Murry) Lutz. He departed this life on January 3, 2016 after a long hard fight with cancer, surrounded by family. Celebration of Life services will be held Saturday Jan. 16, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the Silver Wheel Tavern, 8385 Penner Ave., De Soto, KS. There will be a potluck dinner to celebrate his life. On August 11, 1977 he was united in marriage to Earlene (Juneau) Lutz. George was a underground contractor for K&W Underground and Black & McDonald. He is preceded in death by: parents Marion and Helen and his grandparents. He is survived by: wife of 38 years Earlene Lutz of the home; two children daughter Helen of El Dorado Springs, MO and son Daryl (Missy) Lutz of North Kansas City, MO; four grandchildren Amy, Carl, A.J. and Ariella; five brothers M.C. (Crystal) Lutz of Texas, James Lutz of Texas, Lee (Tara) Lutz of Mack Creek MO, Dale (Effy) Lutz and John Lutz both of Kansas and other relatives and many friends.
