It is with great pleasure that I introduce Andrew Miller as our guest director for the upcoming play, High School Musical (One Act Version) Andrew is 27 and is the son of Bruce and Teresa Miller. He has 2 younger sisters, Tiffani and Lauren who both have a love for theatre. Andrew was born 17 weeks premature, had a lack of oxygen at birth and his lungs were not fully developed. Due to his rough start in life, he has Cerebral Palsey. He relies on a powered wheelchair as his means of mobility. He is hearing impaired and has bilateral cochlear implants and uses total communication (sign language, some vocal and a communication program.) He too has a love for theatre and a keen eye for directing. He has written a couple of plays and was a part of the Lee County theatre program for several years. Some of the more recent productions he was a part of include: Thoroughly Modern Millie, The Drowsy Chaperone, Peter and the Star-Catcher, Pippin, Ben Hur, and the Wiz. Andrew is an alumni of the class of 2011 at Lee County High School. The Main Street Theatre has always offered opportunities to the citizens of of our region. Our hearts are broken....... Bob Hanner appeared in over 25 Dawson productions from 1997-2017. Even when having a permanent theatre in our community was just a dream...he appeared in each play we wrote (no matter where we performed) to help raise the funds needed to make our dream a reality. Bob was an incredibly funny actor, true friend and wonderful supporter. We are blessed to have had the opportunity to work with Bob over the years and are fortunate to have so many wonderful memories. We will certainly miss this amazing man! To Linda, Jeff, Matt and Rob...our prayers are with you. We love you all.
