Care Packages for our Troops

Fairway Mortgage in Colleyville, TX needs your help in providing support and care packages for our deployed U.S. Service Men and Women! Our goal is to send 100 boxes this Christmas. Let's partner together and make this happen!! Each box costs roughly $40 (includes shipping). Flate rate shipping per box is $17.35. We will be collecting items starting now through August 31st. We have posted a Mens's and Womens "items needed" list in the comments below. What a turn out we had for donations for our 25 boxes to send overseas to the troops! Thank you to the individuals and companies that participated with us! In continuing with our philanthropic efforts, the Colleyville branch of Fairway Mortgage will be putting together a drive to collect items and handwritten THANK YOU cards for another 100 boxes to be sent to our troops for the Christmas Holiday. After putting together 25 boxes, we calculated the cost per box is $40. This is items and shipping. We would love to get the community involved in our efforts once again. We will be collecting all donations in June, July, and August. We plan to host a packing party in September and start shipping the boxes out in October so they arrive in time for the Holidays. Keep your eyes out for a Facebook Event from Amy with a list to sign up for items to be donated. We will also accepting monetary donations to buy items in bulk and cover shipping. What an AMAZING day it was to come together as a team with Fairway Mortgage in Colleyville, TX and serve those that serve and protect us daily. WOW! 25 men and women will be receiving care packages. Our troops need us!! Our goal today was making sure that our deployed Hero's get the mail they deserve. I am just in awe of my office community in Colleyville TX! I walked into Walgreens this morning for one item and walk out with this!! I simply shared to the manager that my office will be sending care packages on Wednesday to our military on the front lines. They donated a $25 gift card towards my purchases today!! Thank you Colby!! Anyone else looking to donate let me know!!
