More than just a theatre…Tibbits features year-round arts and entertainment in the historic setting of the historic Tibbits Opera House, built in 1882. Tibbits Opera House, built in 1882, is the second oldest operating theatre in Michigan. Rich in history and ambiance, even today the theatre offers theatre-goers an exquisitely restored facade, nearly perfect acoustics, an intimate 499-seat setting, and a fine array of performances throughout the year.
Tibbits is the home of professional as well as community theatre, music, art, entertainment, family productions, and dance recitals. It is truly a community gathering place to spend quality time with family and friends!

2017 Tibbits Annual Golf Outing
JUST ANNOUNCED: Tibbits Opera House has golf team openings for the 2017 Tibbits Annual Golf Outing! - June 23 @ the Coldwater Golf Course - 8 am registration, 9 am shot gun start - 4 person scramble - Raffles, door prizes, lunch, open bar, and 18 holes of golf All proceeds go directly to our historic theatre! 2017 Tibbits Annual Golf Outing
Join us on June 23, 2017 for the Annual Tibbits Golf Outing! Tibbits Golf Outing will be held at 9 am at the Coldwater Golf Course. Registration of teams will begin at 8 am. We look forward to a morning filled with games, spectacular door prizes, raffles, cash bar, lunch, and 18 holes of golf. To make this fundraiser and summer bash truly memorable, we look forward to your participation. Teams of four can play for $400 or individuals can play for $100. All golfer registrations include the green fees, a cart, food, and a golfer goodie bag. As always, all proceeds will go directly to the daily operations and maintenance of our historic, community-loved theatre! We hope you will join us for a day on the course! The Spotlight on Teen Talent Show will be aired on CCS TV on Friday, May 12th and Friday, May 19th at 9:00AM, 1:00PM, 4:00PM, and 8:00PM. CCS TV is on channel 189 on Spectrum and channel 95 on CBPU telecom.
