D'Youville to Honor Ali Waclawek's Death with Scholarship

"As a school, we'll make a donation in memory of Ali to Oishei, but we really wanted something that was more pungent. Ali was a preceptor for us when she graduated, and she was a wonderful preceptor for our students because this was somebody as a pharmacist and healthcare provider that they could aspire to be as a person, and so we want to honor that with a scholarship...we want to give it to a student who really embodies those attributes that Ali did, so that, in a small way, she'll always be remembered and always be a part of the School of Pharmacy here." -Canio Marasco, Dean of the School of Pharmacy.
