Description
Casual dining with a southern flair in a beautifully restored mill. Full service family restaurant serving lunch, dinner, and delicious desserts. Built by John Cowan with the wealth he acquired from his gold discovery in Montana’s Black Hills, the Old Mill has been an architectural fixture of downtown Acworth since the 1800s. In January 2015, Johnnie Gabriel opened her second location at the lovingly restored Old Mill to serve up her much beloved home cooked favorites (fried chicken!) and famous cakes (red velvet!), in addition to new favorites like warm collard green dip, cast iron steak, and peach cobbler.
As a full-service restaurant and bar, Gabriel’s at the Old Mill offers a unique homegrown dining experience for families in the Acworth area. We look forward to welcoming you to our table for lunch, dinner, or your next special event!
