Early season gardening can now begin on warmer days. Add summer height and colour to your beds and borders by planting cottage garden favourites, hollyhocks, lupins and foxgloves. All easy to grow, hardy and lasting for several years. If you like feeding the birds, but are fed up with strange plants appearing below feeders growing from spilled seed, try 'No Grow Seed Mix' for wild birds. This blend of sunflower hearts, peanut bites and suet treats will attract chaffinches, tits, robins, dunnocks and other species to your garden to feed. Contains no germinating seeds. Summer flowering Lilium 'Apricot Star is a charming, upward facing lily whose pale apricot petals have orange stripes and speckles, perfect for beds and borders. Also makes a great cut flower. Hardy and easy to grow. Begonia odorata pendula tubers produce cascades of large double red, pink or white flowers with a refreshing scent in summer. Ideal for containers and hanging baskets. Low maintenance and easy care. Salad seed potato 'Charlotte' is a firm favourite. Great hot or cold, sliced, diced or whole. Very good flavour: used as a yardstick in taste tests. High yielding, very uniform, pale yellow and long oval in appearance. Plant March - April, harvest July - September and enjoy!
