It's lovely at this time of year as people are very kindly giving us their surplus apples - what pleased me even more about this donation was the fact that it came in a Percy Pig bag for life!! Just done our first delivery to Nell and her team at Meonstoke Post Office and Village Stores - what an amazing shop, it stocks everything you'd ever need - lots of it local too, so do pop in next time you're passing.

I was lucky enough to find some of these little beauties in Twyford yesterday - only enough to make 6 jars though, which may be off to Twyford Stores - how's that for food miles?! If anyone spots more Wild Cherry Plums (also known as Mirabelle plums and can also be golden yellow), do let me know and I'll go and forage some more for your delight!

Another fun Saturday morning spent in the kitchen with Alecia, Jonathan and Lesley making lots of yummy goodies. Again, it was so nice to chat about food and find out about some very interesting lives. Still spaces on the class on Saturday 22nd July if you want to come along!!
