Situated in the heart of Wigtown, Scotland’s National Book Town, our Shop stocks a Full and Varied Range of Antiques, Collectables and Vintage Pieces. We pride ourselves in providing a quality, professional and personal service. Our reputation is based on recommendation and attention to detail. We are a member of The Association of Master Upholsterers and Soft Furnishers.
Traditions is owned and run by Russell Gomersall who is City & Guilds qualified with over sixteen years experience in the profession. We started our family business back in Oxfordshire before moving to Dumfries and Galloway. In 2006 we opened our current shop premises in Wigtown.
Whether you are looking for something unique from our Antique Shop or looking to repair that treasured item of furniture, you can be assured that the methods and quality of workmanship are practiced to a high standard.
You can find us located in the heart of Wigtown, within the Dumfries and Galloway region of Scotland. Which is also known as ‘Scotland’s National Book Town’.
