- Dog walking (on a one to one basis)
- Pet sitting (while your at work or away)
- Dog training (one to one basis) I run a business where I provide dog walking, pet sitting and dog training for pet owners. The dog walking service is on a one to one basis with dogs from one household being walked at one time providing them with one to one attention as well as catering for their needs such as an off lead run and play or an on lead walk. Pet sitting is a service I provide during the day and night in your own home to take care of your pet while you are working or away on business/holiday. By providing this service in your own home your dog doesn’t need to live with unfamiliar dogs and their usual routine can be carried out on a day to day basis. This also means that your other pets can me cared for at the same time. I also provide a pet sitting service for cats and small animals where daily visits can be arrange for feeding etc. while you are away. Dog training is another service I provide whether you have a puppy or an adult dog and you want to teach them some obedience commands. These training sessions are carried out on a one to one basis and are therefore tailed to suit your needs.
If you are interesting in the services I provide then please send me a message so we can discuss your requirements. Look forward to hearing from you!

I have always had an interest in animals and therefore when leaving school I began studying animal science. Since then I have achieved a BSc (Hons) Animal Management qualification and have continued to participate in other courses relating to dog training and behaviour. Prior to starting my own business, I have worked in a kennels for 6 years carrying out day to day tasks with the dogs and cats as well as dog grooming and training. I had also volunteered at rescue centres where I carried out exercise and training sessions as well as behaviour assessments with the dogs in order to prepare them for re-homing. Along with dogs and cats, I have experience of caring for many other animals.

I don't post on here much but I really should. Today I had a session with a rescue dog from Spain. I have known Kanga for a while now and it is amazing to see how much confidence she now has as a result of the support from her owner. Todays task was getting her used to water. After standing in the water for well over half an hour encouraging her in she finally felt confident enough to retrieve her ball alone. Although she still has a way to go and isn't 100% confident she was happily going into the shallow water to collect her ball. Its amazing the results you can get with some patience, treats and some support. Force is not required, just love and support! Kanga amazes me every time I see her and it is lovely to see her enjoying life. Rescue dogs make lovely companions too!

One "jerk" can cause a lot of damage - Dr. Dobias Natural Healing

I always like to use harnesses rather than collars particularly for dogs that pull. This is an interesting read and points out the reasons why harnesses can be more beneficial than a collar. http://peterdobias.com/blogs/blog/11017353-one-jerk-can-cause-a-lot-of-damage?utm_campaign=coschedule&utm_source=facebook_page&utm_medium=Dr.+Dobias+Natural+Healing
