March 20th 1993, it was the day before mothering Sunday and Warrington and specifically the area around Boots where the bombs exploded were very busy. At 12:25 the two bombs exploded causing 54 serious injuries and the tragic loss of life to three year old Jonathan Ball and twelve year old Tim Parry lost his life 5 days later. 25 Years ago today, Warrington was struck with tragedy. This was a song tributed to that loss and the true disconnect between the victims and those who chose to resort to violence to make a political statement. Our community stood united then and even more so now. Let something like this never happen again on our watch. RIP Tim Parry and Johnathon Ball.
