Will is very happy with the arrival of an old classic, he’s worked hard for this - happy January Will! We’ve always been fans of the Focusrite red range, we own a Red 4, Red 5, and have some Red 1s on loan (and hopefully for life). We were one of the first recording studios to implement the new generation of red gear with Focusrite Pro Rednet. (The red in our live room was not deliberate, it just happened to be the most inoffensive colour of that range of cloth - I mean we’re not like weird freaks who only like red things, we have blue things too, and lots of black things, and chrome things, and Neve coloured things.) Anyone got a Red 3 for sale?

This weekend we had the Wantage Big Band in. We took the opportunity to get out all of our bad boys (and girls), we're talking serious #gearporn AEA Ribbon Mics and FLEA microphones all over the place like they're going out of fashion, because why wouldn't we? It's all about that classic Big Band sound, and we have all the right toys for the job. (did you spot the Neumann M269c's? Oh my lord!)
