One of the many reasons I love my job. Today, I’m babysitting Hades whilst his mum (one of our tutors) is on a first aid course in the Barn. In honour of his visit in the office, I've written a poem to stick to the office door: The office is open, but the door might be shut This is because, inside there’s a mutt! Don’t be scared ‘tho his name is ‘Hell’* He’s friendly enough and this we know well, ‘cos his mum’s a tutor here and friend of the boss Who babysits ‘Hell’ when his mum’s at a loss So ‘tho he might whine and act a bit needy I’ve got his treats for which he is greedy And if at some point, he gets on my wick He’ll return to his mum with a swift kick! * actually it’s Hades but nothing rhymed with that…
