🌸WORLD CANCER DAY🌸 Better Gym Walsall Wood are supporting World Cancer Day on Sunday the 4th of February: 🌸Cake sale all morning (members are also welcome to bring in a cake) 🌸Gym floor challenges all day 🌸Unity bands on sale which are already on reception Classes will all have a pink theme and will be different to usual. All we ask is a small donation at the door. There might even be some guest appearances from staff! 🌸9.15 Group Cycle with Maxine 🌸10.00 Combat/Attack/Dance Aerobics mash up with Maxine, Carrie and Kayleigh (new general manager James and personal trainer Ryan will be taking part in pink tutus 👀) 🌸11am BodyPump with Carrie and Kayleigh Classes will be bookable online shortly. 🔹 WEIGHT LOSS TIP🔹 🥗 To be able to lose weight consistently you need to be able to know what you're eating. An easy way to do this is to track your food through an app. Tracking what you eat is essential to see what you're eating well and what isn't as good. As we've already said you need to be in a calorie deficit to lose weight. But how do you know what you're eating unless you keep a log?!📑 As soon as you've done this you can make adjustments and watch the weight drop off 💦💦 For more details on food diaries and working out your calories please ask a member of the team or one of the personal trainers 💪

Today's weight loss top (move more): 🕺💃🏃🏃‍♀️ Aim to do 10,000 steps a day. Doing around 10,000 steps a day burns an extra 500 calories which is enough to lose 1 pound a week! 💦💦 Use a step counter or even use your phone! Ways to increase your steps: 🔹Go for a walk on your lunch 🔹Set an alarm for every hour and go for a walk around your work place 🔹Go for a social walk with friends, family or the dog! 🐶 🔹Wake up 30 minutes early and go before work 🔹Take the stairs 🔹Look for the furthest space from the shops/work instead of the closest

As a gym one of the questions we get asked daily is how do you lose weight⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️ 🤔💭 To put it simply all you need to do is create a calorie deficit. All of the different diets you may do aim to get you in a calorie deficit. You don't need to do any crazy diets to do this! You can do this in 2 ways, either eat less or move more. Roughly a daily deficit of 500 calories will lead to 1 pound of fat loss in a week.
