Great first night of our 42nd Preparation course for Volunteers. Welcome to Home-Start East Lothian ladies and we look forward to getting to know you all more over the next few weeks!

Five days to go, coordinating with leaving in the orange wave on Sunday , Julie is all ready! Last chance to donate- helping us to add in those special extras to our families.

We are holding a drop in coffee morning at BeGreen, Dunbar High Street to support Macmillan Big Coffee Morning. Friday 29th September 9.30-12 . Pop in and sample a treat or two, any baking donations gratefully received. Thank you BeGreen for allowing us to use their office space .

Two weeks to go and she may have hit her own target but I am sure we can smash it!!! Monies raised in this way enable us to add extras into the core support to our families, like days out, a Christmas party or simply a coffee with a volunteer away from the house! Lunch for the Christmas party is now paid for but what else can we achieve!!

Wow what a lovely day we had despite the rain trying to ruin it!! Over 70 of us descended on East Links Farm Park for our annual family day out! Lots of fun, animal feeding , trike riding , picnic lunch, ice creams ( for the brave) , hot drinks for the rest!!! Lots of sleepy children hopefully tonight! Thank you to all the families, staff, volunteers and trustees who made it such a special day!!!

Kirsty is in the Early Years Centre every 1st and 3rd Friday of the month.
