Seafood Retail Outlet The Sea Larder, Thurso (situated in the Thurso precinct) is the retail outlet of JPL Shellfish. Established in 1992, JPL Shellfish have been serving customers across the UK, Europe and Asia for 21 years. JPL Shellfish pride ourselves on being able to source a wide range of the very best Scottish seafoods from our premises in Scrabster - one of Scotland's busiest fishing ports.
At the Sea Larder, we encourage our customers, both old and new, to visit time and time again for the best quality seafood sourced from our local boats and fishermen. Keeping well stocked with traditional favourites and offering something new on a regular basis, we also take special orders and will do our best to cater for your every request.

Good morning everyone... just a little update to say that as well as our shop in Rotterdam street, The Sea Larder's new retail seafood van is now selling our range of the finest local fish and shellfish outside the Tesco store in Millbank road, Thurso. Among the many products available from day to day you will find all the usual favourites such as local Haddock, Cod, Salmon, Seabass, Monkfish, Trout fillets, Tuna steaks and Lemon sole, as well as specials such as Turbot, Halibut steaks, John Dory and many others. We also have Orkney hand-dived Scallops, large creel-caught Langoustines, Cooked crab claws, White Crab meat, Dressed Crab and fresh tiger prawns. Our smoked range includes our own natural smoked fillets, Loch Fyne Kippers, Arbroath Smokies, Hot smoked Mackerel (plain, peppered & Chilli varieties) We also have limited supplies of one of our most popular seasonal favourites- cooked Cod Roe! We look forward to seeing old and new customers alike at our shop and retail van soon!
