Handmade Oak furniture and gifts with a carved Wren The small, family business of Bob Hunter, gifted wood-carver, in the picturesque village of Thirlby.
Wren Cabinet Makers produce everything from tiny napkin rings to bureaus and sideboards. Also church work and any specialised work with seasoned oak.
With the exception of a few basic machines, all the work is done by hand and incorporates a lot of traditional hand-carving, including the use of the adze on all top surfaces, producing an age old air of elegance and grace.
There is no mass production at the home of the Wren and the wood carvers are happy to work to the requirements of the individual customer.
