Time for a round of last weekends event, at the Gillingham regional competition. To start the day off, we had Libby, Freya and Danny. Libby and Freya both doing a great job at completing both of their routines, with Libby getting 3rd place and Freya getting 1st in their groups. Danny managed to do a very good set routine, but had an unfortunate fall in the voluntary finishing 18 skills in total. Moving on to the second flight of the day we had Rose, Daniel, Richard and Austen. Rose doing very well in both routines getting 7th place, followed up by Daniel and Austen, who both managed 2 very confident routines getting 1st in their groups. Richard putting everything in to his routines, unfortunately having a couple of falls. To conclude our round up, a big thank you needs to go to the coaches, Tamzin and Kameron, and the officials: Martin, Jo and Tracey; we couldn’t compete without you! Written by Danny

This Sunday, four of our athletes competed in the regional open-f competition in Gillingham. Although we didn’t have the biggest group, we definitely had the most fun. First up was Grace who completed her twenty skills and came 4th with the highest score she’s ever got! Then we had Savannah who also completed all her routines and came 2nd! On the final flight we had Libby and Richard who also completed 20 skills, Libby coming 3rd and Richard 2nd. Overall a very successful competition with all athletes finishing in the top 5. But we could not have done this without the help of Jo and Harris judging and of course Tamzin’s fab coaching. Thank you to all three of you for giving up your Sunday to support our athletes, we couldn’t have done it without you. Round of applause to all four of our athletes, couldn’t ask for a better team to compete with. Written by Grace

Our rap up from league finals last weekend. So proud of everyone there with Harris placing 2nd, Conner and Annalise doing 2 solid routines each. Austen placing 4th and then Jodi and Austen coming 4th in synchro. And lastly Rhiannon, who had a bit of a slipUp but lessons learned by everyone. Also, a big thank you to all our amazing coaches, judges and parents for supporting us every step of the way. Well done everyone and excited for next year. Credits to Harris for the video. League event 4 this weekend where 3 of our athletes and support team made the long trip up to South Shields! On the Saturday both girls competed in league 3. Savannah was first up on Saturday for her first national league event in a field of 41 where she enhanced on what she trained to complete two clean routines and finish 14th after an amazing STOP! Next up on Saturday was Annalise who competed with 31 other gymnasts. She completed her set and vol extremely well and reached her first event final in 5th. She then competed her best ever routine to put her up a place into 4th, 0.2 points away from 3rd! In both her vol and final she put out a new skill very confidently. Thank you to Harris for judging on Saturday. Sunday started with a nice breakfast in the B&B. Harris has now stepped up to league 1 completing two solid routines to put him comfortably into the final, where he finished the job with a gold. After a banana and 5 minutes off he then had to go straight into warm up for super league. Unfortunately after warming up again around collecting a medal he had a slight miss hap on his set. He picked himself back up however, to punch out a solid vol. Now ready for next seasons super league. Thank you to Tamzin for coaching all weekend and for being a fantastic team leader. Great work team. Written by Harris
