The Cotswold Players present: “Murder on Cue” 14th to 17th March at 7.30 pm Murder on Cue is a murder mystery in the vein of Agatha Christie. Set in a Retirement Home for aged actors, the residents all know each other and have worked on-stage together over the years. There are the usual egos found among a group of actors. Someone is sending poison-pen letters, which is making everyone anxious. The home is also under threat of closure by the Council, which also adds to the anxiety. When solicitor Gareth arrives at Maple Lodge retirement home along with heavy snow, he's unexpectedly met by a more treacherous storm brewing inside its genteel walls. There's jealousy and acrimony on the menu and a whiff of overcooked cabbage, gravy and murder in the air. Amidst a flurry of poison pen letters, the threat of closure and a lot of witty bickering, the retired actor residents turn detective, each one hoping they'll solve the mystery before they become the next victim. Hello all! Two people have very recently been in touch enquiring about volunteering at the Cotswold Playhouse in different ways (one query was about makeup and the other was someone on behalf of her daughter). However for some reason gremlins seem to have removed both of your messages, so I can’t forward your details to the right people. Please can you get in touch again. Apologies and thanks!
