Well I've just had a mammoth uploading session for my Etsy shop. It always takes me soooooo long to do. I wonder if I could bribe the kids to do it in future.

All set up and ready at the Etsy made local Christmas craft fair at New Brewery Arts in Cirencester. Come along and support independent small business on small business Saturday. Now if I could just figure out how to post a photo from my phone....😌

Well as promised I have got around to photographing some of the panels that are going into the Star Anise art cafe, Stroud exhibition. They will be hanging between the 10th October to the 6th November if anyone wants to go down. Well worth a visit for their coffee and cakes too. 🤗 Anyway here is a hare looking rather pensive.

Whoah, it's been rather a long time since I've posted on here and for that I apologise. I always have good intentions about keeping everything up to date and being that super organised, social media savvy person but the reality is rather different. Anyway I haven't been idle all this time; there has been holidays, more mundane glass work, work for other studios and then new designs to work on some of which are shown in the photo. Some of these are going in a small exhibition of my work at a local art cafe next month. Very exciting! When I attach hanging loops later this week I will try to get round to photographing them and post some images, however my workshop is in a bit of upheaval at the moment as it is being totally rearranged so you may need to be patient with me.

Just fitted some refurbished opening leaded lights back in position this morning. Four windows in total, although only two shown here. They certainly look better than when they came out as the lead was falling apart.

A lovely day spent removing leaded lights from a beautiful manor house. The sun was almost shining, (well, at least it wasn't raining) the house martins were flying above our heads and the views from the top of the scaffold were lovely.

Working on getting the second shading matt on a couple of pieces today. Both the rabbit and the hare are going to be fired this weekend and hopefully leaded up so I can cement them next week alongside some leaded light windows. Also decided to play around with another small panel.

Working on site yesterday at a lovely church by the River Severn I came across this window dated 1876. I love the expressions on the mens faces; they are so full of life. The maker was a Jean Baptiste Capronnier, a Brussels glass artist who was born in 1814. He took over his fathers glass design business in the 1840s and went on to enjoy an international reputation, producing work in Brussels, Bruges, Amsterdam, France, Italy and England. He seems to have produced a lot of windows windows in Yorkshire.

Well my squirrel has sold and is now winging its way across the ocean to Canada. My first sale abroad which is exciting but also nerve racking with the packaging. I do hope they can get into the package when they receive it!! Fingers crossed it gets there in one piece.
