Engine builds, turbo upgrades, GTX3076, GTX3584, tubular collector manifolds, custom aluminium and stainless fabrication of exhaust and intercooling and induction pipework.  The originator of the high flow 80mm K04-02x turbo intake pipe which changed the game in k04 performance possibilities.  Our unmatched K04-380 package matching our 1.8t experience with that of AET Turbos experiences bringing the highest specification k04-02x package to the market.  Custom mapping on our dyno, live emulated mapping with ols300 emulator on me7.5 ecu's. Stand alone mapping using DTA and Emerald ecu's.  Race car dyno setting up, actively supporting several cars running with us in the Castle Combe Saloon Car Championship.  Racing our own 1.8t Seat Ibiza Cupra there.

Stroker gt35 S3 we built finally encouraged to break the 6xx bhp barrier. 1000cc bosch injectors (which flow tested at only 860cc!) needed 4bar reg to get the duty cycle down from maxed....

Something quite different in for some base settings to get baby running. An original period racecar which raced at leman. Some proper prep and suspension underneath. As clean under as you see above. We had to get creative as the throttle wiring was left for us to connect to the ecu, but when measuring the pot, it was knackered. A virtually impossible part to get it seemed after many many phone calls. We had to get creative making an adaptor plate, and a new drive plate, to fit a sourced subaru throttle pot. Fiddly and time consuming but worked out very well in the end. What a noise from the side exit exhaust.... Deafening.

Making a hybrid Fmic from a failed ah and the trusty proven Toyo type B core. End tanks cut off ah and Welded onto the Toyo core. S3 fitment. This is the second ah core to have failed on the tube to end caps both ends, within 2 years. Scottish salty roads perhaps causing corrosion or something else... Who knows. Binned off now, let's hope the Toyo lasts longer.

Some customer id1000 injectors sent in for testing. Video below. >3.8% difference between them. Slightly worse than std bosch spec of +/-3%. Ultrasonic cleaned and retested and difference reduced to +/-1.5%

when you get customers who supply injectors with this sort of abysmal spray pattern and expect you to "magic" the afr fuel control for stable lambda via mapping..... If you get lambda afr leaping about plus/minus 20%, its because of poor spray pattern and or combined with wrong spec of spray cone and inlet manifold.. Imagine the wide cone you see in the video in a long injector port in an after market manifold.. You take an already terrible atomisation & spray pattern and pool and puddle it..liquid fuels running in, not atomised and not wanting to burn. Engine and lambda have no chance of controlling something like this with light load, cruising throttle low port velocity not able to carry the blobs of fuel into the combustion chamber to burn nice.. Bad parts/Wrong combination.. Do your research properly first!

R5 gt turbo k04-380 1.8t nearly there. New pipework, forged ie Rods, custom 3"turbo back exhaust. Just waiting finishing of wmi install and a replacement charge cooler pump (which had long since stopped working /seized) then brief running in and mapping it up..

Full 3" turbo back vbanded stainless exhaust system made by nath this week for the k04-380 Renault 5 gt turbo we have in. Yes, 1.8t R5 gt turbo, plus our k04-380 package. We've rodded it, supertech valved it's head, cat gold sprung it's head, aem water mething it, then mapping it next week. Proper job. Team Badger5
