This is a sad week for us all as another member of staff Angie Murray will be leaving us after 10 years! Angie was a lovely member of staff and she will be missed by us all at the Children's Centre. We wish her all the best for the future. Angie has asked to write this: "It saddens me to say I will be leaving the Children's Centre after 10 years here, where I have met so many lovely people, families and professionals along the way, thank you to everyone who I have worked with and I wish you all the best."

As everyone may already know the Children's Centre's service is changing! This also means that staffing will be different too frown emoticon:( Lauren Taylor is moving to the Rawtenstall area, Pat Whitehead and Angela Almond will be moving to Great Harwood and Aysha is moving to The Park Children's Centre. The staff that are in work today would like to say a few words: -Lauren..."I'm very sad to be leaving after working here for 8 years. It has been an absolute pleasure to work with and get to know so many of the families in the area, as well as work with fantastic people and agencies. I will really miss it here, and thank you to everyone who has made it so enjoyable, I am happy to start my new adventure" -Aysha... "I know my time with cluster children centre's been short but in this time I've gained a lot of knowledge and experience. It's been fantastic working alongside all the staff here, a great bunch who have helped and supported me along the way. I've also met so many families who've made my job fulfilling and very exciting. Good luck to everyone!"

This week is Brogan Ballinger's last week working at Copperhouse as she is moving to The Park Child and Family Centre in Accrington for 4 weeks. At the end of April she will be leaving us for good as she starts her new adventure! Brogan has been a great assett to the Children's Centre and we will miss her! Brogan would like to say: "Thankyou to everyone who has helped me along the way whilst working across the Children's Centre's over the 5 years! I will miss the families, staff and challenges but I wish you all the best!"

We would like to sadly announce that Cath Marsh will be leaving us next Tuesday after working at the Children's Centre for nearly 9 years! She has been a great asset to the Centre and she will be missed! Cath wants to wish you all the very best of luck in the future and wants you to know that shes really enjoyed working for the Centre since 2008.

This week is the last week of us running our groups before the service changes from 1st April. Please see below groups in the area that are not run by us that you can attend. If you would like a copy please call into Copperhouse or Clayton Children's Centre. This means that we will no longer be delivering the groups and crèches that we have been doing, which will finish running during the week commencing 20/03/17. We will, however, be staying OPEN as a centre and will be offering a revised targeted service of sessions from April. Ante-natal and the Well Baby Clinic will still be running, keep a look out for future information. We would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your ongoing support and involvement throughout the years. We have attached information about local community groups that you and your families can access. You can also collect a copy from Copperhouse Children's Centre or Clayton Children's Centre. We are hoping to put together a guide with groups on in the area that we don't run ourselves. Please could you comment below or private message us the other groups that you attend or know of so that we can put this together? Thankyou :)
