We are looking at diving at StAbbs next Sunday. Our usual boat is not available but the skipper may be able to get us on another boat but we need to know numbers. We will be doing two dives and the cost will be approx. £40 payable to the boat skipper. Air fills are available from rock house diving in the harbour for £4.50 so one cylinder is fine if that's all you have. Parking £7.00 a day If you are interested please let us know as soon as possible. Just a reminder that if you are diving off a boat you will require. SMB Reel Computer Compass St Abbs is 120 miles from Middlesbrough and you should allow about 2 1/2 hours travelling time. I will get details of the time of ropes off as soon as I can get numbers, you will need to be at St Abbs with 1/2 hour to spare in order to get knitted up and your gear onboard. Stuart

Please get in touch with Alan or Rick to book onto this trip. Dive the Firth of Forth In 2012 we started taking trips to The Isle of May and Bass Rock and these have proved very popular with many divers making return visits. Situated in the mouth of the Firth of Forth, Diving at The Isle of May and Bass Rock is very weather dependent but on a good day, provides some great diving. The Isle of May has a wide range of dive sites situated below some stunning topside scenery. There are several shallow wrecks, open caves & caverns with swim-through tunnels to explore. It’s also likely that you’ll be joined on your dive by the playful seals. The diving at Bass Rock has something for everybody with caves and swim-throughs. A sheer wall on the north side drops away to 40m+ and makes an interesting dive. Although the visibility can sometimes be poorer than the Isle of May, the sight and noise of the thousands of Gannets is quite impressive The isle of May is an excellent wildlife reserve. As an option for lunch we can moor up and enjoy a packed lunch. When the tide suits, another option is to drop into the harbour at Anstruther for some fish and chips at the famous and award winning Anstruther Fish Bar. Flexible Diving These trips are for a full day with 3 dives with the boat leaving Eyemouth at 8.45 and returning around 18.00. We have extra tanks available for those needing them. The total travel time is around 1.5 hours from Eyemouth and trips can be planned to suit your group, e.g. One dive at Bass Rock and Two at The Isle of May or One at Bass Rock, One at The Isle of May and one elsewhere.

We apologise for the short notice on Thursday the 8th June, Redcar will be hosting the count for Redcar & Cleveland in the General Election, due to recent events, they have been advised by the police and the council to close early to allow a security sweep of the building prior to counting starts. Unfortunately, this means we have no choice but to cancel pool training session. We apologise for the short notice and the disruption to courses. Everything should be back to normal from 15th June 2017.
