It was announced with great pleasure in the Parish this morning that the next Vicar of Rainham is to be the Rev'd Nathan Ward. Nathan and his family will be moving into the vicarage in early April and Nathan will be collated as vicar on the 21st of April. More details to follow. A prayer at this time. Trinity of love, as we joyfully await the arrival of Nathan and his family to this church. We thank you for the gifts they will bring to our church and community. May we grow together in love and service and strengthen and support each other in our common vocation that your kingdom may be seen among us . Amen.

We enjoyed all the usual fun activities at todays Messy Church with lots of crafts, stories and a short film. Jan told us the story of the Good Samaritan (complete with the appropriate props) before we all enjoyed our bring and share lunch together. Our Messy Churchers all ready for this afternoons performance of Sleeping Beauty at the Oasthouse Theatre. Super show as always from the RaTS full of fun and laughter with great singing and the usual pantomime jokes! Star of the show however was our own little Alex as she managed to join the cast for the closing number.
