Sligachan Hotel is situated at the foot of the Cuillin Mountain range on the Isle of Skye.
Seumas's Bar serves food from 10:30am until 9:30pm daily.
The Hotel is open from March until October each year and Seumas's Bar is open from May until September. Sligachan Hotel is situated in the heart of the Isle of Skye on the foot of the Cuillins. Steeped in History, Sligachan has to be one of the most iconic places to visit while taking a trip to Skye.
Opening from March, we serve delicious locally produced food in our lounge from 10.30am until 9.30pm. We pride ourselves on great service, fantastic food, not to mention our delicious selection of fresh baking.
We also have our famous Seumas's Bar which opens in May, not only home to the biggest Whisky selection you can see on the Island but also our very own Skye Ale. Serving homely pub grub, coffee and cakes, sit back and soak up the Scottish atmosphere.

We have it covered! Kids love Sligachan, not just for the adventurous walks and rivers but our play park and games rooms. With a delicious selection of Children's meals and plenty entertainment you can relax with a drink while the kids have a fantastic time.

This winter, when the hotel was closed, a Maquette of Norman Collie and John Mackenzie stood in Collie's lounge, the rounded part of the hotel. Gary Groucutt, a photographer who stays here, took this image from outside, the rounded window reflecting the mountains. There was heavy rain that day. He calls it 'Dreaming of the Mountains'

We said goodbye to a good friend today, who made other people's lives better, and the world a happier place. One of the strongest rainbows we have ever seen fittingly appeared by the mountain rescue hut shortly after the service. Stuart Ashton, your spirit lives on in all who met you.
