Saturday 13th January at Ogilvy Park, McBookie.com North Division Saturday saw Scone travel to Arbroath for the first game of 2018 and the first league fixture since November 18th nearly 2 months ago. The unofficial winter break has been frustrating for all involved and common sense will surely see a proper winter break introduced at some point so teams can prepare properly? Today's game v Coupar Angus was originally scheduled to be played at Foxhall Park but due to a waterlogged pitch was switched to Scone which had a better chance of surviving the weather. Unfortunately due to an overnight frost, Farquharson Park is also unplayable and today's game has been postponed. The players will instead be training today in preparation for next weeks game v Arbroath Vics away. [ 43 more words ] http://www.sconethistle.org/scone-thistle-v-coupar-angus-match-off/

The Club would like to wish all of the players, staff, supporters and sponsors a Happy New Year and best wishes for 2018. Every year we have to raise a substantial amount of money just to keep the doors open. This is generated through gate receipts, the shop, fundraising events, donations and sponsorship without which this would be an impossible task.
