A unique Cycle Cafe Tea Garden on the cross country C2C cycle route open to those on bikes everyday and all others we open the above Fri pms and Saturday each week until  end Sept - with wonderful views looking out across parkland to Greystoke Castle.  We're in Greystoke just 300 yds north of the village green directly on the C2C cycle route. This is 5 miles west of Penrith and J40 of the M6 and just north of the A66 to Keswick

f you plan to visit the Tea Garden for our home made cakes aind light lunches please remember we are only open to the General Public on a Friday afternoon 12 to 6pm  and Saturday 10 to 6pm between Easter and end September. Even less helpful is the fact that we have no parking facilites (it is reserved for those on workhops and cycle support vehicles) and so we ask all those who visit to walk from parking towards the village - about 150-350yds  ( it s a wonder anyone comes at all - but thankfully they do:)

If you do decide to brave the trek you may meet 'Monets Garden' or any number of other famous racehorses that frequent these lanes,  as Greystoke has its very own Racing stables. The horses ride past every day between 8am and 2pm except Sundays .

When you finally arrive we hope you'll find it was worth it.  Do remember though we are just a Tea Garden, there is no warm frilly tea room . We have an unheated barn that the Cyclists use and many gazebos for shelter in the garden to protect you from the wind and rain.  In addition we have hot water bottles (yes, its true!) and blankets to keep you warm- these serve perfectly for cyclists on the unfavourable cold Cumbrian days. Perhaps not the place to bring a frail Granny unless its warm  - however if it is she may well love it-  both the garden, iews, cats and the tranquiilty. There are garden steps and more distant ramp.
