Tanglewood Acoustic came in with a nasty cracked top...after glueing the top and reinforcing the crack inside with mahogany cleats and re glued bracing, it's now having its top lacquer touched up before buffing and final Polish!!

Fender Strat came in that had had a roller nut removed and a huge acoustic nut put in its place...unfortunately this had thrown the frets out of there correct spacings and was messing up the intonation!! So I had to fill the slot with a piece of rosewood, re cut the correct slot width and cut a new bone nut ( the one in the picture is a test plastic one) I think it turned out pretty well!! And now plays in tune 😀

Eko Ranger Acoustic came into the workshop with a hole in the shoulder.... Being an acrylic finish,it was never going to be a invisible repair, but after selecting a piece of mahogany that was similar, I plugged, stained and re finished and polished the repair... I think it's turned out pretty well :-)

So i needed to glue a cleat to the inside of the soundboard of an acoustic guitar with a hole in it!! It was in an unreachable position, so i fashioned a winch from a dremel router base, a piece of hook up wire an old drumstick and a clamp :-) really pleased with the result!! Once its dry i can glue in the spruce plug....match the colour and drop fill it with lacquer! Been an interesting Sunday morning!!
