Well, a hedge witch is a witch who works on her own, in isolation, like a solitary hedge in the countryside. A spinney is a small group of trees and hedges, growing together, flourishing and creating wonderful environments. We are a group of hedge witches who choose to work together, in a similar way that the organisms in a spinney live together, so we choose to call ourselves spinney witches. This is a term that we came up with together, after joining together to cast a spell to banish an ex from one of our lives and to prevent him from harming other people in the future. We believe in magic, teamwork and the flow of positive energy within our lives!
