Morning everyone; it looks like another fabulous day today out there. I really need to get out and tidy up the garden but I've got a busy few days ahead. Today I'm off on my travels with sewing machine in tow for a sewing social. It's lovely to be able to share my time with like minded people and be able to get on with work.....mixing pleasure with business today. Whatever you're up to have fun. X Helen

Today I've needed to chill out a little so I've taken respite in starting a new little project. I've started on a floor play mat and I think the fabric is lovely, I've almost finished a matching baby bag to; but I've got to buy a couple of bits to finish it off.....if I manage to get to the shops tomorrow for supplies I hope to show it to you to very soon. Once finished both items will be for sale. The floor mat measures 1metre x 1metre. I hope you like the fabric to. x Helen

Hello everyone I hope you are all ok. I've been very quiet of late but have been working in the background on orders and dealing with family life as you do. But I can now share with you a little chap, 'Rory' Bear that arrived safely in his forever home at the weekend. Made from baby clothing and new fabrics 'Rory' was gifted as a Christening gift. Feeling so proud today. Had the most wonderful day attending the first performance of James and the Giant Peach at Rugby Theatre this afternoon. So proud because our Grandson was part of the cast and did so well! If you live locally the show is well worth a watch. Beaming from ear to ear with pride x Helen

What a beautiful day it's been here today. Even put the washing out today; I was that confident the sun was here for the day😀. In between bears I've started working on some smaller Rag Dolls. Faces aren't easy but I think I like this one.....what do you think so far. Yet to finish them but an hour here and there should get them sorted. Hi everyone I hope you're enjoying the Bank Holiday weekend. We've spent the day with our Daughter and her little family. I've not done much over the weekend but did manage to sew a couple of little rag dolls together later today. All I've got to do now is make their little outfits and then I can hopefully share them with you all. I also made a new shape little bear the other evening but don't have a decent picture of him to share just yet. But all in good time. Tomorrow I'm out and about for a while but do hope to get a little cutting out done ready to work on over the next few days. For now, we're just chilling out in front of the TV for a while. After all the fuss with my machines yesterday one went off to the engineer today and guess what it looks like my machine's ok. Whilst that one's been away the other has been working ok....... it's obviously just feeling jealous when the other's around! The intermittent fault hasn't happened once today!! She'll still be off to the engineer on Friday though for a health check as she's definitely not well. X Helen

Of all the times that my machines (yes both of them) decide to have a meltdown! At the busiest time possible! Off to the machine man tomorrow with everything crossed! Well at least the bigger one anyway........the other one is limping but with a little patience and coaxing is still going but she'll be booked in for Friday for an MOT.
