Hi My name is Ian, I first started learn electronics in the mid 1970`s.
My passion is Vinyl records of the 1950`s - 60`s and record players.
It always give me great joy when I restore a record player from a wreck back to a beautiful working machine in perfect condition.
I believe you cannot beat the warm sound from a vinyl record.

FONS CQ-30 TURNTABLE RECORD PLAYER Fitted With SME 3009 Tonearm Speed Settings are 33,45 78 RPM Please Note: This is Missing its Tonearm bias weight, which can be bought for around £20 on ebay and there is no Dust Cover with this The Audio outputs have a 5 pin din attached which can be easily changed to a RCA Phono Plugs with a little soldering also there is a ground/earth lead All looks to be OK when I played a record on it all the speed settings and On/Off buttons are OK This is being sold as used working condition but not serviced. Vintage 1960`s Dansette Conquest MKII Valve Record Player with Legs Colour: Turquoise and White Fully Serviced, Plays like a Dream with Fantastic Sound Factory Fitted Fully Automatic BSR UA15 Turntable, This will stack and play about 8 records at a time Plays 45 (7" singles), 33 (12" LP`s) and 78`s Sound output is Mono but its Fitted with a BSR X5H stereo compatible cartridge so it will play your stereo records but with mono Sound Sound Controls are On/Off/Vol, Bass, Treble The turntable has been stripped cleaned, re-lubricated and adjusted for perfect operation Amplifier has been check for any faults and was found to be in excellent condition A brand New stylus will be fitted before despatch This has not been recovered or painted and it is all in its original 1960`s condition As well as being in fantastic working condition the overall condition of this unit is in superb condition

Sorry I have not been on here much cos I have been so very busy servicing my customers Record Players and Turntables I have just finished this Hacker Gondolier GP42 Valve Record Player which is the only one that I have for Sale at the moment I do have a few more to do which i have in my Workshop Dansette Major, Pye Black Box, Fidelity and a Ferranti Record player plus a few others The pictures were taken under Electric light so the colours might be slightly off due to Colour Cast caused by the Tungsten lights This was Made in the 1960`s and was known as the Rolls Royce of the record players due to the Build quality and Superior Sound when compered to other record players of the time. Fully Automatic, Stacks about 6 records to play at a time but can also be used manually Factory Fitted Garrard 2025TC Fully Automatic Turntable which has been dismantled, cleaned & Serviced The Amplifier has also been serviced with the coupling Capacitors replaced & Other components including capacitors & resistors have been replace where needed New Catches and Hinges fitted Switches have been cleaned to ensure crackle free operation large elliptical 10 inch front speaker Valves x2 ECL86 New Sonotone Stylus will be fitted before despatch Speeds are 16 R.P.M., 33/3 R.P.M. for playing 12" LP`s, 45 R.P.M. for 7" or 12" Singles and 78 R.P.M. for the old 10" Records Fantastic Sound with ample Bass and plenty of Volume General Condition of the case: Some Marks and Wear are showing but still pretty good for a 1960`s machine Comes with 3 months warranty on Amplifier Components and Turntable (excludes stylus & Valves) ,buyer is responsible for postage costs Comes with a Automatic spindle (as seen in fitted on the turntable) and one stubby spindle for manual play plus a 45 adapter for singles with the large holes All in Fantastic working condition and The Sound is Stunning it will be hard to find a better sounding machine The Record player works perfectly as it did when New
