Another set of 30-40 year old Ping Eye irons have finally been replaced with the latest G400 Irons. Huge improvements to strike, distance and direction. Also we saw confused distance gaps paired with poor direction at the top end of his bag, which is all too common amongst amateur golfers. This was fixed immediately with the G400 4 Hybrid, which was immediate in rectifying his low hooking long shots. The difference of this gents attitude towards his golf couldn't of been more different from the beginning to end of his fitting session, so much so I have to show his email review a few days later.

Another customer's yardage gapping has been improved at the longer end of his bag. Today Ping's G400 fairway's and hybrid have given this gent more distance with a 3 wood, then better yardage gaps towards his 5 iron with 2 new clubs ✅

After receiving the last P700 iron series head from Taylormade I put the whole line up of P irons through its paces during some in house GC2 testing. The P730, 750 and 770 had small incremental gains in ball speed and distance expected from the slightly differing lofts and head designs. However the P790 was in a league of its own when it came to raw power and yardage. All tested with my usual Dynamic Gold X100 shaft. Which club could benefit your game? Lowering his 6 irons launch angle and increasing his spin will steepen his balls landing angle to dramatically increase control.
