Newton Aycliffe Sports Club has been around for over 50 years providing sports and a socialising facilities to the local community as well as two bars and a function room. There are 4 main sports played at the Club, Cricket, Football, Rugby and Archery. Newton Aycliffe Sports Club provides both sporting facilities and a venue for functions as well as Sky Sports and BT Sports showing major sporting events on our multiple screens.

We have two comfortable bars and also a multi purpose function room for hire, for weddings, christenings, birthday parties, funerals etc. Capable of hosting up to 120 people there is also a self contained kitchen which is available to hire for your event. Please contact for further information.

Currently the club has:

A Senior Men's Football Section with the team currently playing in Northern Football League Division One. They play in a superb enclosed ground within the boundry of the sports club. Visit www.newtonaycliffefc.co.uk for further information. Also a Sunday team playing at Moore Lane Park.

A Senior Men's Rugby Union Section comprising of a first and second team. The first team currently play in Durham & Northumberland Division 2 and also play their home games on the Sports Club grounds with additional facilities on Moore Lane Park.

A senior and thriving junior cricket section with the 2 senior teams playing in the NYSD. The junior cricket section has teams from U11 and they also play their home fixtures on the Sports Club grounds.

Additionally the club has a thriving Archery section, and also groups of members who play under the Newton Aycliffe Sports Club banner (Golf, Netball, Pool Leagues, Darts).

There are also Poker competitions in the Club on a Monday and Thursday night.
