We've been running St. Cyrus Village Inn for nearly 11 years now. We took on an old building which had been largely neglected for 40 years. Completely enthused by the area and the people in it, we decided to invest. In an extension we provided the newest and largest public bar area between Montrose and Stonehaven, with a flat above for ourselves. We have renewed the electrics, plumbing and windows. We have repaired and protected the outside stonework and survived two serious floods and built defences. We have modified the building from 4 en suite and 2 non en suite letting rooms to 10 new rooms, all en suite. We have deliberately achieved all this with the employ of local businesses and the help of local people. Public bar activities, fundraisers and donations, have raised in excess of £50,000 for local groups and national charities. We have provided work experience for school pupils, accommodation for those that found themselves homeless, and employment for over 40 local people. None of this could have been achieved without the continued support of our customers. With the approach of Christmas and New Year once again, we thank you all.

Festive opening hours for this year folks:- Bar is open Christmas Day 12 noon 'til 2pm, then closes until re-opening at 7pm. Kitchen closed all Christmas day and lunchtime Boxing day. Bar and kitchen will be closed on 1st January during the day, both opening at 6pm. A Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all.
