Lytchett Matravers
Description
Lytchett Matravers is a village in rural Dorset, about 6 miles north west of Poole. Situated on a hilltop much of the village enjoys spectacular views over Poole Harbour to the Purbeck hills and historic Corfe Castle. Hello, welcome to the Lytchett Matravers facebook Page. After the success of this years Fayre, that was advertised almost entirely through social media. I realised that there wasn't an active community resource available that could be used by everyone in the village to find out about "Whats on in Lytchett Matravers?" nor was there an easy way of finding out about local clubs, charities, groups, businesses etc etc.
So after a brief discussion with my lovely husband, i decided to use a community FB page for Lytchett Matravers that he had started sometime ago but didn't have time to maintain it. So........ all in the name of better communication for us all in (and around) the village.
Here goes........ Hopefully, this is the start of a useful free community resource.
Please share the page with all your friends and family.
Please be patient it is a work in progress!!
