“Paradise. Every detail of the hotel, restaurant bar has been well thought out…with your every detail attended to. Stunning grounds and gardens with river walks and hidden places to sit and let the world go by, great opportunity to see some amazing wildlife. The rooms are amazing in every detail. The food is stunningly good.” Review, Tripadvisor

“The team pride themselves that everything they serve is home made, including breads, soups, sauces, ice cream and puddings. Dishes range from light meals in the snug bar to a full à la carte menu in the riverside restaurant. High standards throughout mean excellent value for money.” Fiona Duncan, The Telegraph

🚫 STRAWS SUCK 🚫 Billions of straws are discarded every year, filtering into landfills and littering the oceans. But this can change. The idea is simple - we just won’t put a straw in your drink unless requested. It’s that easy. Why? Plastics are extremely detrimental to the environment, as they can’t biodegrade, they last indefinitely - breaking down into smaller pieces, feeding into the food chain and potentially ending up on our dinner plates. Not ideal. WE’RE PROUD TO FLY THE STRAW WARS FLAG – SAYING NO TO PLASTIC STRAWS http://strawwars.org/

On December the 31st 2017 we lost our beautiful friend Emma Bailey. She had fought bravely for many years but finally lost her battle to cancer. Emma was such a special person, a loving mother to 3 remarkable children, wife to John and someone who worked tirelessly for The Mill while suffering from her melanoma cancer. She truly was one of a kind, selfless, witty, funny, brave, positive with a wicked sense of fun. Always there for others no matter what she was facing. A best friend to many and missed every day. Oakhaven provided guidance and support to Emma during her illness and we know her family would be very grateful for anything we can do to raise money for such an important organisation. Jayne Evans who currently works with us at The Mill will be doing a charity coastal walk of 26 miles for Lewis Manning Hospice in Poole and Oakhaven Hospice in Lymington on 12th May to help raise money for this worthy cause, so please please help us raise as much as possible in her memory. No matter how big or little your contribution may be, it will be gratefully received by Oakhaven allowing them to provide care, comfort and support to help other families who are facing the biggest battle of their lives. Thank you for your support. To make a donation please head to - https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/sara-bysouth
