With the southern North Sea emerging as the international proving ground for large-scale offshore wind farms, OrbisEnergy is the flagship for businesses keen to capture the economic benefits from offshore wind, wave and tidal technologies.

Designed using cutting-edge environmentally friendly technology, the 3,300 square metre building is a worldwide centre of excellence for this vastly expanding industry.

The five floor building sits on Britain's most easterly location at Ness Point in Lowestoft and features state-of-the-art offices, conference and exhibition facilities.

It has the capacity to house 38 companies involved in offshore renewable energy, supporting both new and existing enterprises within a flourishing commercial network.

All major offshore construction completed within a year Wind farm preparing for full generation Spring 2018 innogy leading construction and operation on behalf of project partners innogy SE announced on 22nd December 2017 that the final wind turbine has been installed at Galloper Offshore Wind Farm, concluding the installation of all 56 Siemens Gamesa turbines. OrbisEnergy tenant, Manor Renewable Energy (MRE) has won a contract to supply temporary power, personnel and a multi-purpose vessel to GE Renewable Energy for the Merkur offshore wind farm in the German North Sea. Under the contract, MRE will provide temporary power pods, designed and manufactured in-house, with a 2000L integrated fuel tank to reduce the refueling and vessel intervention of smaller tanks. Vattenfall has selected OrbisEnergy tenant, Fred. Olsen Windcarrier to supply a crew transfer vessel (CTV) to service the 110MW Lillgrund offshore wind farm in Sweden. One of Fred.
