Sometimes it’s hard to understand behaviour in our pets. Many vets have had the situation where owners of young unspayed female cats phone the surgery as they believe their cat is in pain. On some occasions it is simply feline flirting - the cat has gone into season and she’s calling for a mate. The point is, it is always best to check with us, as cats are normally stoic and won’t be so noisy - so if they really are in pain, it’s severe!
